The 77th annual Hanbury Countryside Show will be held on Saturday 6th July 2024, on the showground just off the B4090 at Hanbury, Hollowfields Road, B96 6RD.

There is also a large horse show consisting of affiliated and non-affiliated classes, the event encompasses a broad range of equestrian disiplines from dressage to British Show Jumping. There will also be a display of pigs, sheep, cattle, goats and poultry.
There will be a large shopping area, which includes a great range of stands selling food, drink, crafts and retail. The Children’s entertainment will include pets’ corner and fairground rides plus much more.
Alongside a very popular Fun Dog Show, the Forticorde Gun Dog Team run a scurry for your 4 legged friend to try.
Hanbury Show is one of three shows within the neighbouring villages of Hanbury, Inkberrow (www.inkberrowshow.co.uk) and Feckenham (www.feckenhamhorseshow.com). Held on 3 successive week-ends in mid-summer, this density of traditional one day “post & rope” local shows is hard to find in Britain today and indicates the strength of community and long standing traditions surviving in this corner of Worcestershire. Holding to the vision of the founder members, the show has involved the local community from the outset and only survives from the support of people from all walks of life willing to sacrifice their time to serve the show.
The boundaries between town and country are becoming less distinct, and although the population of the parish has remained relatively constant since the early 19th Century, the majority of the residents now commute to the local towns and cities. To accommodate this demographic change the original intent of holding a local event has now expanded to promote all aspects of rural living, crafts and industries and to foster the relationship between rural and urban communities.
The rural landscape is evolving and there is an increasing uptake in leisure and working lifestyles based in and around communities such as Hanbury. The resurgence in conservation and an increasing demand for products and foodstuffs produced within the locality or region has created a springboard for the show to expand and provide an opportunity for business and local organisations to showcase their products and services.
