Head to the Southern corner of the Showground and enjoy a real dose of countryside nostalgia, courtesy of a superb display of vintage farm machinery and historic and classic cars, by their proud owners.
Every farm vehicle tells its own story, evoking memories of simpler times when farming was a communal labour of love. Every post-war, modern and veteran classic car will transport you back to modes of travel in yesteryear. Every vehicle on display is a testament to the ingenuity of automotive and agricultural engineering from different eras.
Don't miss the roar and rhythm of the magnificent steam engines, mighty tractors, trucks, cars, stationary engines, commercials, caravans and motorcycles as they come together, on parade, in the Main Arena. It's an exhilarating spectacle!
Entries taken within the Midlands Heavy Horse Society
The gentle giants of the horse world steal the show in the Countryside Arena every year, courtesy of the Midlands Heavy Horse Association.
There are three breeds native to the British Isles - the Clydesdale, the Shire and the Suffolk Punch, but the equally magnificent Percheron - imported many years ago - is recognised as the fourth.
Bred historically as reliable working horses, mainly for ploughing and hauling, the heavyweights were used extensively in agriculture before the advent of modern technology and motorization.
They can also be ridden and are often shown in hand as you'll see at the Show. Their sheer size, striking appearance and gentle nature makes them captivating to watch, and Show visitors can meet them face to face as their handlers prepare them for the show ring.

Farriery - the craft of shoeing horses - is an age-old skill that combines artistry with practicality. The Show's Farriery Competition, organised with the Worcestershire Hunt Supporters Club, features six distinct classes allowing competitors to display their skills in various aspects of the trade. It typically draws between 20 and 30 farriers from across the Midlands, and is open to both seasoned farriers and enthusiastic apprentices alike.
The competition promotes the significance of traditional practice in modern-day farriery, and the competitors work with their own equipment, using their individual styles and techniques of craftsmanship to get the job done. It's a wonderful spectacle to behold, and you'll find them near the Heavy Horse Ring.
