    A SHOW FOR THE COMMUNITY, RUN BY THE COMMUNITY

    Did you know that it takes a team of more than 300 volunteers, to organise and run the Hanbury Countryside Show each year?

    The Show is a staple in the local calendar, but without the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteer stewards and helpers, it would be impossible to stage an event of this size, or to make donations to our chosen charities every year. It’s a monumental task and we thank you all.

    JOIN TEAM HANBURY AND SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY

    By volunteering, you give your time and effort to help create a memorable day out for thousands of people, which is rewarding in itself. Volunteering is also a fantastic way to enhance your own personal growth by developing communication skills, effective team working, leadership experience and other work-related credentials.


    Helping out - even for just a few hours - is really appreciated, and our volunteers tell us they have a great time too! You might be retired, you might be a student, you might want to get some work experience in a rural arena, or in event management? You might just be someone who loves the Show as much as we do, and wants to give us a hand?


    We’re also keen to hear from team leaders from organisations with a pool of volunteers (16 and above) who’d like to step in and raise funds for their own group or project.


    Stewards enjoy light refreshments, a pre-Show Ploughman’s Supper and access to the whole show.

    GET INVOLVED TODAY AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

    The Hanbury Show is a registered charity and profits are distributed to other charities like the Midlands Air Ambulance and the RABI, so by getting involved, you will be helping us to support truly worthy causes which serve the wider community.


    We need volunteers on Show day but also throughout the year, and there’s a range of volunteering opportunities to suit many interests, skills and experiences.
