Childrens Activities
Many of the activities on offer are designed to educate children on the importance of agriculture, the role of farming in delivering food to our tables and the role wildlife and conservation play in building a thriving countryside. Activities are designed to encourage children to interact with all sections of the Show.
FUN FAMILY ACTIVITIES:
Show Trail – Collect the Stamps!
FREE activity aimed at children aged 3yrs – 10yrs
On arrival at the showground positioned at the two main public entrances will be the Children’s Activity Stand. From here children can collect their stamp collecting sheets and set off round the show finding the stamps. Stamps will be located under each wooden marker rosette; these rosettes will be raised up high above the stamp and trail boards.
There are 12 stamps to collect, dotted around the showground in all the different show sections. All participants returning to the Children’s Activity Stand with their stamp sheets will receive a special prize. Prizes will include a range of sweet treats.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Identification wristbands are available from the Children's Activity Stands.

Show Trail – Look out for the Information Boards!
FREE activity aimed at children aged 5yrs – 12yrs
Children are encouraged to travel around the Showground looking for these Informative Boards. The Information Boards will be located underneath each wooden marker rosette; these rosettes will be raised up high above the boards and clearly visible for children to find.
There are 12 Information Boards, dotted around the showground in all the different show sections.
There is a selection of interesting and engaging facts and figures to be learnt, it is hoped that children will go aware with some new knowledge about food, farming and countryside.

Pony Rides - Pampered Ponies
One of the best children’s activities on offer at the Show is pony rides. Pampered Ponies will be coming to the show with some of their much loved equestrian friends. For a small fee, children will be able to experience siting on a pony or perhaps even a unicorn!
The pony rides are located at the bottom of the horse competition field and will be open all day. Pampered Ponies are a professional fully insured provider of pony parties and events, large or small, they provide a fun friendly and safe environment for children to interact and ride the ponies. Toy Tractors
A FREE supervised activity for children aged 3yrs – 8yrs
There will be a fun toy tractor zone, children will have the opportunity to play on some toy peddle tractors kindly provided by CLAAS Western. These tractors will be surrounded by small straw bales and children will have the opportunity to move round loose straw.
The toy tractors will be located near the cattle and goat judging rings. The peddle tractors will be accessible all day.

Attwell Farm Park Feature
The Attwell Farm Park Feature is a fun and educational zone, which will be a celebration of all that is amazing about British farming & conservation. The Attwell Farm team will be on hand to answer children’s questions and there will be a selection or educational information boards alongside the various animals on display.
This exciting new feature will provide show visitors with an opportunity to see a range of amazing and even a few exotic animals. Animals on display will include giant rabbits, tarantula spiders and pygmy goats. There is plenty to do at the Attwell Farm Park Feature for all the family.

Archery
The Droitwich Archery Society will be in attendance offering young and old the opportunity to try archery. Archery is a popular sport which always gains a high level of interested at the show. The Droitwich Archery Society have their outdoor shooting ground near Hanbury, and have been attending the Show for many years.
The Archery Society coaches are available to provide an archery experience for all. Children need to be at least 8 years old in order to be covered by the Societies insurance, but just as importantly they must be mature enough to listen and follow instructions and physically big and strong enough to use the equipment. There is no upper age limit for those looking to have a go.

Fair GroundDon't forget to visit the Fair Ground! Located down in the southern corner of the showground near the bandstand are all the children’s amusements. There will be a great range of children’s rides and activities including bumper cars, hook a duck and waltzer. Charges may apply. |
